Hugh R. Kress is a self-proclaimed geek and intellectual property attorney with over 28 years’ experience handling patent, trademark, and copyright matters for clients big and small. Hugh’s practice focuses on providing the strategic counseling and services that allow his clients to capitalize on and protect the value of their intellectual property. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Rice University and a law degree from the University of Houston, Hugh has represented clients in a wide range of technical disciplines, including semiconductors, computer software, the Internet, medical devices, nanotechnology, automotive technologies, and oil field equipment.
