Eric Gash focuses his practice on domestic and international patent procurement, patent portfolio management, infringement and invalidity opinions, freedom to operate opinions, and trade secrets. Eric has over 20 years of experience and has a genuine interest in his clients’ technologies, which allows him to draft broad strategic patent applications and skillfully prosecute patent applications. Eric’s practice covers electrical and software technologies, including cloud and edge computing, accelerator architecture, artificial intelligence, computer networks, cellular and Wi-Fi communication, graphics processing, computer memory, consumer electronics, e-commerce, medical electronics, automatic test equipment, and semiconductor fabrication. Eric is passionate about innovation, bridges the gap between law and technology, and takes a collaborative approach to protecting his clients’ intellectual property.

Eric has worked as an engineer in the medical electronic industry for companies such as Spacelabs Medical, Siemens Medical and Seamed. His experience included design engineering, test engineering and manufacturing support. Eric has worked on cardiac defibrillators, ultrasound imaging systems and other electronic devices.
