Prior to joining Lackenbach Siegel in the patent department, Ana Maria was a paralegal at a number of the larger intellectual property firms locally (New York Area) and was responsible for patent acquisition and litigation matters as well as extensive international docketing matters for substantial portfolios. With this experience, at Lackenbach, Ana supports one of the firms founding members and provides a direct liaison between international and domestic patent clients and the firm. Ana is also responsible for facilitating and integrating new international patent rules in conjunction with the other members of the patent department support staff, as well as assisting in international patent enforcement.
Ana is bilingual, and when not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and charity matters.
